I have this problem too.
I'm not sure if I agree with you correlating these two ailments.
Still, we could setup a question on the Lipoma Profiles for people to select from a bunch of other ailments. If you collect a list of at least 20 ailments I'll add the question.
Here's a start:
Chronic diarrhea
Obesity
Skin Cancer
High Blood Pressure
questions instead of listing disease's how about symptoms?
for example
Diahrea
Sadness
Anxiety
dry skin
joints pain
headaches
problem with balance
dry eyes
skin rash
lactose intolerance
hair loss
hot and cold sensations
decrease concentration
etc
I have about 10 or so pea size lipomas and also have had chronic diahrea for about 15 years now. As for other symptoms, I usually get a kidney stone about once a year. Tomorrow I am getting a blood test to see if I have Celiac disease.

I just found this site and saw your question, it's an outstanding yes! For years and I too just passed it off. I been thinking it's a celiac disease thing lately so I put myself on a gluten free diet for a bit and the diarrhea stopped. I self diagnosed so I'm not sure if I actually have it. I have to admit it's not easy to go gluten free and I cheat now that I been doin it for a while. I do though, think there is an issue hear worth further investigation. I got these bad boys all over me and I hate it. Had some removed and the more i search on my body the more i find. On my legs, ass, back, ribs, abdomen, ect. Sooo frustrating, good to know I'm not alone in this world. Who ever is saying there isn't enough evidence just hasn't looked deep enough yet. Goodluck, Ryan
My answer is no. I do not have diarrhea and am not obese. My blood pressure is ridiculously low. My cholesterol is low. I eat very well; I hardly ever get headaches; my balance is excellent. I no longer eat gluten, cow dairy or corn, but I keep getting lipomas. The only thing mentioned in one of the posts is sadness; I do get really sad and pissed off about having lipomas. But for me, having had lipomas for 26 frigging years (13 to 39) so far, I believe my lipomas are the lone suspects in the crime of pissing me off.
I have experimented with taking coffee/chocolate out of my diet and it seems to help significanly with the size and tenderness of the lipoma. I also take L-Carnitine. In about a week or two I can see results from avoiding the coffee/chocolate.
i have not experienced diahrea as a symptom of lipoma, but have seen family members that had other symptoms because of where their lipoma growth was. For instance a growth near a nerve can cause pain and coordination issues due to its location relative to motor nerves. There are reports of lipomas in the brain causing stroke symptoms as well. i think its unlikely a growth is causing diarhea, however.
Thanks for your reply,
The reason for me asking this question is to see if there is any association with malabsorption and lipoma.
If any of you have this combination please reply to this message. Lipoma is very benign condition so there is limited research being done and the only way we can find out the underneath etiology is to talk about it and participate in each others experiences. I have more than three lipoma's and have chronic diahrea as long as i can remember, it is just normal part of my life and never gave it a second thought. It would be interesting to see if malabsorption has anything to do with the pathogenesis of the disease.
Thanks
